Welcome to the Education Page for ASQ Section 605.

If you are interested in a specific certification prep course or other educational opportunity, please contact the Education Chair, Matt Harris.

We appreciate you making your voice heard regarding your interest in specific certification prep courses and other educational opportunities. Please send an e-mail with your ideas. We are also eager to hear from you regarding your qualifications to volunteer to lead training in an area where you have experience and hold certification.

The section will prioritize its offerings based on "customer" needs and the resources members provide. 

Study groups for CQA are currently underway.
Fall schedules will be out later this summer - classes could include CQA and CQIA, depending on interest.

We are also offering a new pilot program:

Certified Manager of Quality / Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE) Training.

The training is being taught by Jerry Mairani of Sacramento Quality and includes seven 3-hour sessions starting June 3rd and ending on October 7, 2008, just prior to the Exam.

The fee for the course was $99 and included the ASQ CMQ/OE Textbook. We expect a similar cost if interest exists to provide this again in the fall.
